Robot in water facilitates creation/being awake

The ghost is hacking

The cops have A.I elements and aren’t fully human

The guy with the uzi was hacked out of his memories

The cyborgs don’t blink

Feels hope in the deep water and feels like becoming someone else

Similar monologue to Blade Runner by the woman

Doubting her ghost

Talking to a computer

Inner thought communication

The dialogue cuts out during the later chase scene

No mind and body connection, they are separate

Rips apart her body trying to open the tank

The woman is changed with the puppet master’s voice/switched to a new body and he goes on a rant about merging both beings for greater good

Kusanagi appears to die.

She is reborn in a new child body

No more use for childish ways

They do merge

Love, Death & Robots: Pop Squad Reaction

I really enjoyed watching all of the episodes in class of Love, Death & Robots, but the episode "Pop Squad" stuck out to me the most. Out of all of the episodes, I felt that this one contained and covered a variety of real issues that us as humans face now or could be certain to face in the future.  "Pop Squad" is set hundreds of years in the future where cities expand way above the clouds, and those that are alive have traded the ability to have children in exchange for eternity through a drug called Rejoo. The main job that the police, and one of the main characters Briggs has, is to arrest any "breeders" and kill any children they find. It is not explicitly stated, but can be implied that everyone in this society is supposed to take Rejoo regularly and only those that stop taking the drug are able to either physically have children, or are able to think more freely and less selfishly.  The basis of this episode really made me think about what the fu...

  The original sketch for the poster/PDF. We wanted overall unity for both of these elements of our project. Begining to put together our collage now that we printed photos from the movie. The collage mostly finished. We wanted the quote to stand out because not only is it a driving force of the theme for the movie, but it also relates for how this movie can show a relation to the future. We felt that white would not reflect our project the best. In terms of lighting, the movie is not bright and we wanted to relay that in our poster. By painting the rest of the poster black (thanks to Maddie) we could add splashes of color with white and orange, both of which are symbolic in the movie. We added cotton balls to reflect the fog that the aliens Abbott and Costello live in within their ship. It brings an ominous element that other countries in the movie don't embrace. Hi everyone, my name is Shane Petagna and I'm from Edison, NJ. My life revolves around sports, and it's definitely what I'd consider myself a geek about. No matter what time of the day, I'm probably watching, playing, or reading about sports. Most of the time I'm consuming baseball in some sort of fashion. I also enjoy working out as a way to clear my mind.
